Eligibility
Age Limit (as of Coast Guard Rules):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 22 Years
Specific Age Cut-off Dates:
- Navik GD -01 & 02/2027: Born between 01 November 2005 and 01 May 2009 (inclusive).
- Yantrik 01/2027: Born between 01 May 2005 and 01 May 2009 (inclusive).
- Navik DB -02/2027: Born between 01 November 2005 and 01 October 2009 (inclusive).
- Hygienist-I -02/2027: Born between 01 November 2002 and 01 October 2009 (inclusive).
Age relaxation is applicable as per Indian Coast Guard recruitment rules.
Educational Qualification:
- Navik GD: Candidates must have passed Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as subjects from a board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
- Navik Domestic: Candidates must have passed Class 10 from a board recognized by COBSE.
- Yantrik:
- Passed Class 10 from a COBSE-recognized board AND completed a 3 or 4-year Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.
- OR Passed Class 10 and Class 12 from a COBSE-recognized board AND completed a 2 or 3-year Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by AICTE.
- Hygienist-I: Matriculation OR Industrial Training Institute (ITI) OR equivalent from a Board of Education recognized by the Central/State Government.
