Application Fee

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the JHTET 2026 are divided based on the level of teaching.
Primary Level (Class 1-5)
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks, and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
- 10+2 with at least 45% marks with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
Junior Level (Class 6-8)
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (B.T.C. / D.El.Ed.).
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.Ed. / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri (Regular).
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 45% marks and B.Ed. (as per NCTE norms).
- 10+2 Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and appearing in the final year of a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed program.
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education).
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks along with a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. course.

How to Download Admit Card
The admit cards for the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 will be available for download from October 15, 2026. Follow these steps to obtain your admit card:
