Eligibility

For Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class): Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks and possess a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC).
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC) as per NCTE Regulations 2002.
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed./BTC).

For Class 6th to 8th (Elementary Class): Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree along with D.El.Ed./BTC, B.Ed., B.Ed. (Special Education), or an equivalent teacher education qualification prescribed by NCTE.
• Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with a 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. qualification.
• Regularly appointed in-service teachers are also eligible as per the official notification.
