Solution

Decimal values: $\frac{7}{11} \approx 0.636$, $\frac{5}{9} \approx 0.555$, $\frac{4}{7} \approx 0.571$, $\frac{3}{5} = 0.600$. Ascending: $\frac{5}{9} < \frac{4}{7} < \frac{3}{5} < \frac{7}{11}$.

Q2. A container holds $8\frac{1}{2}$ litres of oil. If 1.125 litres are removed three times, how much oil is left?
